5G smart integration kit for a 2018 BMW 4-series GT.

Our kit uses the latest 5G wifi connectivity for fat and secure wifi.

Utilises the factory steering wheel controls, bluetooth streaming and MIC.

The result is a seamless integration for your i-Phone or Android phone.

The Defender 110 is an icon of the road and still has a mass appeal, for the adventurous.

However, the vehicle has no smartphone integration or a reversing camera.

We had to be sympathetic to the dashboard and the layout, so we opted for the Pioneer AVH Z7200 + a HD camera.

The client gets to keep the dashboard completely original and have the luxury of smartphone integration and the convenience of a parking camera.

Whilst the vehicle shares the same architecture of the UK. variant, it does have a different can-bus protocol.

However, our partners in South Korea, were able to determine the correct programming of their kit and were confident we could install Carplay / Android Auto.

The whole install is 100% plug & play, and retains all the functions of the vehicle as well as the reversing camera and night view front camera.

Retrofit VW camera system.

In this example, CVA has installed a boot handle AHD camera with the dedicated camera module. The whole install is a 100% plug & play, no cables need to be cut!

The result is a pleasing, clean, and crisp image that retains the parking system and dynamic gridlines.

In this example, we have taken out the Audi Navigation Plus stereo and installed the class-leading Kenwood 5023DABs.

The unit retains the BOSE amplified system and the steering wheel controls. The advanced features of the Kenwood give smartphone integration, such as Google maps, Waze mapping, hands-free calling, music streaming, etc....
